G'day my name is Adam and my girlfriend is Jacqueline, Jackie or Jack. About two years ago Jackie told me she was going to the UK to work and travel and asked if I wanted to go with her. Sure....Why not. So after a very long process of deciding when and were to go, worrying about terrorist attacks, getting new jobs and putting the plans back, calling each other names and not talking to each other and months of procrastination we finally got our passports and have a date.

The story to this trip is like any other aussie who wanted to see the world and decided that the UK was a great base for travel. The place is packed with aussies all willing to lend a hand a travel. England also has a reputation as a great place to work for Australian especially in bars, pubs and clubs, hotels and any other shit job that the poms don't want to do. The type of people us aussies are, we return the favour when the poms come back packing, we give them jobs picking fruit and working in pubs etc. Hopefully me and my girlfriend Jackie will have more luck with work and get jobs that will earn us more money than the standard wage and be close to what we were doing before we left. If any large company would like to do a story and pay me alot of money to follow me around on this type of adventure please contact me here. What I hope to achieve with this site is a diary and a guide for all my friends who want to do this but haven't got the nads to go and do it.......and the fact they want to use me for a guinea pig. I hope to have photos to share with you regulary and some stories as well.
